REPORT -
Gen Z in the Workplace: What Employers Need to Know

Generation Z, individuals born between 1997 and 2012, now comprises 27% of the US workforce.

While they are quickly becoming an essential target for hiring and talent development, many employers are still trying to understand their needs and motivations in the workplace.

We conducted a qualitative study with a small group from this cohort to gain a deeper understanding of their shared attitudes and beliefs regarding their ideal work environment, career aspirations, benefits expectations, and other related topics.

The report features insights into:

  • Mental health and the role of employers

  • Work/life balance needs

  • The need for connection and community

  • Compensation preferences, and more.
